And I can only free them from my mind by bringing them to life on canvas.“ Erik Renssen is a figurative painter with an eye for composition and texture. His portfolio is characterised by its enormous range not only of subject matter but also in his use of colour.

Marking a Milestone with the book:
"La Joie de Peindre 1984-2009"

A monumental publication to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Erik Renssen's work as a painter. The nearly 200 pages of the book are lavishly illustrated with paintings, drawings and numerous photographs of the artist and his studios through the years. The text was written by art historian Jaap Nijstad, with contributions by collectors and others closely involved with the artist during a quarter of a century.

"Special Edition" with original Lithograph

The first 100 copies of "Renssen - La Joie de Peindre 1984 - 2009" will be signed by the artist and come with an original lithograph from a limited series of 100 prints.
